The History of The Henry Players

The Henry Players were established in 1991 when a small group of community theatre buffs realized their dream of forming a thriving community theatre close to home. The Players' first production, Hello Dolly was performed in the spring of 1992. It was a huge success. Since then, The Henry Players have continued to excel by providing quality entertainment at affordable costs.

 

Death Trap - February 2002

A totally volunteer organization, hundreds of local residents have graced our stage, played in our orchestra, and worked behind the scenes. Many more have enjoyed our performances. The Henry Players rely on season ticket sales, regular ticket sales, and sponsorships to present quality performances.

Big River - April 2002

Because of continued community support, The Henry Players continue to enjoy phenomenal success. The Players reached an all time high of over 900 season ticket holders & sponsors for the 2005-2006 season. The Players hope to surpass that mark with this upcoming season.
